Original story:-
Case no. 94, Amherst Street, Kolkata, 5 September 2016:

Rescued from Amherst street. Vutta had injured spine and broken leg. He was operated and steel plate was implanted at the lower part of the body at a shelter at Thakurpukur, South Kolkata. All cost borne by Parna Maitra, a PAWS member and by public donations.

He was kept with pavement dwellers at Amherst street. They are unable to feed him any more. Now it has been picked up and kept at PAWS shelter since it was learnt that it was not taken care of and that in the incessant rain did not have place to sit. At present full of ticks and suffering from malnutrition. Now it will be treated and given proper food.

All cost of transport, medicines and sheltering being borne by Parna who now lives far away in another State but her tears for the helpless animals falls on Kolkata.

Any kind person knowing any garden or factory premises may please inform us if the owners of such a place can let him live there once we nurse him back to health.
